Letter of IntroductionDear Parents, Coaches, and Campers:For years, from my junior year in high school until now, coaches and parents have contantly asked me to teach them and their players to shoot like I shoot. Basically, I taught myself to shoot so in teaching shooting I simply try to go through the same process I went through, capsulizing several years of experience into a short, concentrated period of instruction. I also used films and video tapes as teaching tools to refine my shooting form. It helped me to actually see on film how I executed the various skills associated with shooting and how each skill improved with each period of practice. Using films and videos as reinforcing tools in the 1960's was far ahead of its time; I continue that tradition today. I believe we all learn best by seeing and then copying. That is why every player enrolled in my shooting school will receive a video tape of me explaining shooting as I learned it during my career. At the end of each tape I personally analyze and comment on that player's shot as they shoot on the tape. The opportunity to be involved with D-1 Camps, Spiece Fieldhouse, Walsh University, Millikin University, SportZone, Kentucky Basketball Academy and Jerry Hoover is perfect for me. I can concentrate on teaching and I know the administration, facilities, food, and supervision will be the very best. I urge you to enroll now as I am limiting each session to 150 persons in order that I can provide individual intruction to each player. I look forward to working with you this summer.
